Ibiza Airport is located onthe famous Balearic Islands of Spain. Driving to and from Ibiza Airport is easy, as the only main access road is the PM-801, or Ibiza-Airport motorway, although the PM-803 (Ibiza-San José motorway) can also be used by taking the kilometre 4 exit. Driving in Ibiza is on the right-hand side of the road, just the same as all other Spanish cities, and cars coming from the right at junctions and roundabouts have right-of-way. All road rules should be strictly obeyed, which includes the wearing of seat belts in the front and back of the vehicle, no drunk driving and no speeding. Drivers should be aware that the allowed alcohol level in the blood stream is very low, for example, a person will only be able to consume one small glass of beer or wine before their blood-alcohol level is over the limit. The speed limits in Ibiza are as follows: 100 km/h or 80 mph on open roads and 50 km/h or 30 mph in urban areas. When driving in Ibiza, some form of identification, such as a passport or drivers license, must be carried at all times.
